Readers should observe strict silence inside the Library.
No member is allowed to enter the Library premises without a valid Library Card.
Use of Mobile phones is not permitted inside the Library premises.
The Library Cards are not transferable and Lending Card must be produced to borrow books. The Reading Room Card must be produced at the Reading Room of the library. Readers have to sign the registers at the time of entry.
Loss of Library card should immediately be reported to the Librarian and the conceded student should follow necessary procedures to get a duplicate card.
Enrolled students and the teaching staff can use the Library. Ex-students, Ex-Teaching staff, Ex-Non-teaching staff and outsiders will be allowed to use the Library by order of the Principal.
Making noise, eating, sleeping and doing anything else which may disturb other readers or go against the discipline of the library are strictly prohibited.
Reading Room is open from
- Monday to Friday: 10:00 A.M. – 06:00 P.M.
- Saturday : 10:00 A.M. – 03:00 P.M.
- For Hostel Students
- Reading Room copies cannot be taken away from the Reading Room.

Services for specially-abled users

Circulation
- Monday to Friday: 10:00 A.M. - 03:00 P.M.
- Saturday: 10:00 A.M. - 01:00 P.M.
- Books are issued for 15 days. Honours students can get 2 books and General students 1 book at a time.
- Books should be handled carefully. In case of loss or damage book will be replaced by a new one. Library Card will be suspended for any user who engages in malpractice.
